You Choose
Posted in everyday stories on 06/27/2005 03:31 pm by lorieOkay. I’m having motivational difficulties so severe that I can barely function today. I’m sure it doesn’t help that I’m possibly coming down with a cold or something. I’ve woken up with a scratchy throat and that general sick feeling the last few days and I’ve been coughing a bit. No good.
So anyway, there is in fact a point here – who knew?
I have three stories I could tell you. I’ve actually started drafts on two of them, but can’t seem to flesh out a post today. So I thought I’d stall by allowing you to choose the one you’d most like to read, and then tomorrow or so I’ll see what wins and wrap up an actual post about it for your reading pleasure. Your choices are as follows:
- A story about how my family’s paper carrier is delusional and moved all the newspaper boxes on the street to a new location, prompting my mother to launch a Campaign of Rage;
- A story about my conversation with a jackhole sales rep at Adelphia who, despite seeming to have a job where she encourages people to sign up for service, instead appeared to try her damndest to make me so angry that I refused to sign up for service at all;
- A story about how my mom called the police to ask them if we could go to the movies.
or
All three of these proposed posts are actual real events that actually occurred in my presence during the last three days. Go. Vote. And have a killer Monday.

Why not write about all three? If you don’t feel like it then write about the third topic.
